TERMS OF SERVICE

Game Show Junkies is run by Bayou Beats LLC (“we,” “us”). Buying a game or using this site means you agree to these terms. We've kept them plain.

What you're buying

Each game is a one-time purchase of desktop software you own forever, with a commercial licence included and free updates. Your first purchase also unlocks the Game Show Deck, the free host app that runs everything you own. The games run on Windows 10 & 11. A Mac version is coming but does not exist yet.

Your licence

You can:

  • Install and run your games on the computers you host from.
  • Use them at paid events — the commercial licence covers the shows you run for a living.
  • Write your own questions, load your own pictures, and keep those sets forever.

You can't:

  • Resell, rent, or hand out copies of the software itself.
  • Pull it apart, decompile it, or strip out how it works.

The questions, pictures, and sets you create are yours. The software stays ours.

Your account and access

You need an account to download what you buy. Owning at least one game grants that game and the Game Show Deck. Deck access always comes from what you own, so keep your login to yourself. Don't share it, and don't share download links.

How you get your games

Delivery is digital and instant. The moment your payment clears, your games appear in your dashboard and you download them there. No disc, no shipping. If a download ever fails, email us and we'll sort it out.

Payment and prices

Prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. You're responsible for any tax that applies where you are.

Refunds

All sales are final. Because your games download instantly and are yours to keep, we don't offer refunds. If something won't run, we'd rather fix it than lose you. Read the refund policy for what to do.

Referral winnings

Refer a friend and you earn winnings: account credit toward future orders, not cash. Credit can cover up to half of any single order, and both per-order and lifetime caps apply. Winnings have no cash value and can be adjusted if we spot abuse.

The software as-is

We build these games to work in a real room and we stand behind them, but we can't promise they'll be perfect on every setup. To the extent the law allows, the software is provided as-is, and Bayou Beats LLC isn't liable for indirect or incidental losses. This doesn't take away rights you have by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the business grows. If we make a real change, we'll update the date at the top. Using the site after that means you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, United States.
